This fun tournament is to be held on Sunday 22nd September, 9 to 12 am approx. It is open to all members and is a doubles competition where we handicap players. We select a partner for you.

Wingerworth tennis club open day April 2012

Ready, Aim,Fire.

On Sunday 22^nd April Wingerworth Tennis Club held their annual Open Day from 9 am to 12pm. The weather forecast was atrocious and someone had blown all the fuses in the club house!

However, all was not lost; the rain came in dribs and drabs but was not enough to dampen the enthusiasm of the youngsters who came to sign up for membership and coaching over the coming months.

With the power now restored the ball machine was loaded (the kettles were boiled) and great fun was had by all.

The draw was made for the Wimbledon tickets that we had been allocated and the results are as below.
